Biography

Tammy Cunningham

Vice President/Program Chair
Biography

Tammy Cunningham currently serves in the position of President with CCHRA. Her service with the Board began in 2005 as a volunteer on the Program Committee.

Tammy is the Assistant Director of Human Resources for the Town of Barnstable beginning this position in 2005. In this capacity, she provides assistance in a variety of areas including labor relations, workplace investigations, compensation, contract compliance, policy development, workers compensation, FMLA, and ADA compliance. Tammy has worked in municipal government for 22 years holding various capacities with a total of 15 years directly focusing on human resources. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Public Administration from Suffolk University. She also holds the IPMA – HR designation of Certified Human Resources Professional.

Tammy is also active in Southeast Coast IPMA HR serving formerly in the roles of secretary and president. She has also served on the Eastern Region Board of IPMA – HR in the positions of secretary and treasurer.

Tammy is a native to Cape Cod growing up in Yarmouth. She currently resides in Sandwich with her husband and two children.

Mike Foley

Biography

Michael E. Foley has been representing public and private sector employers, large and small, for profit and not-for-profit, in all matters of labor and employment law for over 31 years. Over the years, in different capacities, he has come to know and has advised several hundred businesses/employers in countless situations throughout the Commonwealth, New England and the nation.

Mike brings a unique prospective to the practice having served as both outside counsel and in-house counsel. Before he opened the door at Foley & Foley PC, he served as an equity partner and Chairman of the Labor Relations, Employment Litigation, and Employee Benefit Law Practice Groups at two major New England Law Firms and served as the General Counsel for Employment Affairs for an award winning healthcare system.

In 2007 Mike founded Foley & Foley PC, hired a talented and seasoned team, and established a law firm that prides itself on its responsiveness, creative problem solving, positive results, and client-friendly fees.

Foley & Foley’s clients and business interests are local, regional and national and include small to large companies in a wide variety of business sectors. The Firm’s services include employment matters, labor relations, all aspects of litigation, employee retirement plan design and compliance, and state and federal immigration law.

Mike’s unique background has put him in the position of experiencing first-hand pressures and challenges that most attorneys never encounter. Mike draws on the breadth of his experience to offer employers an uncommon approach and practical solutions. Clients retain Mike to work in a variety of capacities including legal advisor, advocate, negotiator, strategic planner, problem solver, trainer and spokesperson.

Mariia Watts

Biography

Mariia serves at Coastal Engineering, where she works closely with the CFO helping with accounting, human resources, and other financial and administrative tasks. Mariia holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Cape Cod Community College. Now she is pursuing a Master’s Degree of Science in Accounting at the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth. Mariia is a Community Leadership Institute alumnus, Class of 2019. She is passionate about developing herself and others. In her free time Mariia enjoys exploring Cape Cod and traveling.

Jackie Driscoll

Secretary
Biography

Jackie has worked in HR in multiple industries during her 15+ years in HR-focused positions. She holds a masters degree in Organizational Management as well as PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. Jackie joined the CCHRA board in 2022 and currently serves in the position of Secretary.

Jackie is also an active volunteer for National Marine Life Center, formerly an animal care volunteer and currently serving on the board and as HR Advisor.

Jackie has a lifelong history with the Cape and moved to the Cape full time in 2015. She can often be found kayaking along the Bass River or the other gorgeous Cape waterways.
