Our History

The Cape Cod Human Resources Association was founded in 1984 from an outreach of HR professionals who felt the need to network and communicate with their colleagues. This organization is comprised of HR professionals representing such industries as finance, education, health care, manufacturing, retail, human services and professional services. Members share the common interest of advancing the profession of HR management. Currently CCHRA represents over 100 companies throughout the Cape Cod region.

The CCHRA is the premier human resource association on Cape Cod providing information and education connecting HR professionals, businesses and the working community.

The Benefits of Joining

CCHRA provides members with a variety of benefits. From September through June, monthly meetings are held which feature guest speakers from business, education and government, who cover diverse areas of HR management such as affirmative action, literacy and training, legal issues, compensation, benefits, unemployment, employee assistance and health care. Periodically, additional seminars are held which provide members with in-depth coverage of current issues.

The strength and meaningfulness of CCHRA lies in the exchange of ideas, the study of new developments and the discussion of the many challenges in HR management today. Invited speakers are expert in their fields and provide invaluable information to the membership.
