Compensation & Benefit Survey
Cape Cod Human Resources Association members have long recognized that the labor market conditions here are unique and there is a need for local, relevant compensation and benefits data. In Spring 2003, CCHRA launched its own compensation and benefits survey: and the results were published in early December, 2003. Of the 99 organizations that participated, 61% had between 10 and 100 employees, and 39% had greater than 100 employees; 31% were from the non-profit healthcare/social services/education sector, 25% from trades/manufacturing/distribution/transportation, 14% from professional services, 14% from hospitality, and 15% from other types of organizations ranging from municipalities to retail.
CCHRA partnered with the Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and the Workforce Investment Board to fund the survey, and the survey itself was designed by a consulting group that worked closely with a CCHRA task force. The Hospitality survey covered 71 management and non-management positions, and the Cross Industry survey covered 155 management and non-management positions. Both surveys included seasonal jobs.
